BitGo and Susquehanna launch institutional OTC service
BitGo and Susquehanna Crypto launched an institutional OTC service for prediction markets, enabling large trades with crypto collateral and boosting institutional access.
BitGo Prime and Susquehanna Crypto have joined forces to launch an institutional-grade over-the-counter (OTC) service for trading prediction market contracts. This new platform is designed for hedge funds, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, allowing them to use digital assets or stablecoins held on BitGo as collateral for event-driven trades. Susquehanna Crypto will provide liquidity, while BitGo manages custody and collateral, enabling clients to execute bilateral trades without liquidating their crypto holdings. The service adopts a traditional derivatives trading framework and sets a minimum trade size of $100,000, targeting large investors. This initiative addresses key barriers to institutional participation in prediction markets, such as the lack of integrated custody and execution infrastructure. The launch follows BitGo’s recent public listing and aligns with its strategy to expand in the institutional crypto segment. Meanwhile, Kalshi and FIS have introduced a clearing solution for prediction market contracts, further supporting institutional access as trading volumes grow.
