Apex and Omnes launch tokenized Bitcoin mining note

Apex Group and Omnes launch the Omnes Mining Note on Base, offering institutional investors tokenized, compliant exposure to Bitcoin mining revenues via hashrate for 36 months.

Apex Group, in partnership with Omnes, has launched the Omnes Mining Note (OMN), a tokenized structured product on Coinbase’s Base, Ethereum’s Layer 2 network. The OMN is designed for institutional investors, particularly professional non-U.S. clients, offering direct economic exposure to new Bitcoin production through hashrate allocation. Investors benefit from this exposure without the need to manage mining infrastructure, hardware, energy, or regulatory compliance. Each OMN is backed by 1 petahash per second (1 PH/s) of Bitcoin hashrate for a 36-month term. The note is issued as a secured debt instrument registered in Luxembourg, with ownership tracked in book-entry form and mirrored on-chain using the ERC-3643 standard developed by Tokeny. The Apex Digital 3.0 platform manages the OMN’s lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient on-chain transfers among whitelisted professional entities. This initiative bridges traditional finance and blockchain, enhancing asset liquidity and accessibility for institutions seeking exposure to Bitcoin mining revenues.
