Michael Saylor has signaled another imminent Bitcoin acquisition for Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), following a recent purchase of 22,337 BTC for $1.57 billion. This brings the company’s total holdings to 761,068 BTC, representing over 3.5% of the total circulating supply. Strategy’s aggressive accumulation is funded through the issuance of STRC perpetual preferred stock and MSTR common stock. The company aims to reach 1 million BTC by the end of 2026, which requires an average weekly purchase of 6,158 BTC. Despite an unrealized loss of over $5.28 billion (a 9.12% drawdown), Saylor remains confident, viewing current Bitcoin prices as a temporary pause. With a market capitalization of $46.8 billion and an enterprise value of $62.8 billion, Strategy maintains active trading volumes and holds $8.25 billion in total debt. Saylor continues to position Bitcoin as a superior treasury asset and inflation hedge, reinforcing Strategy’s status as a leading corporate holder of Bitcoin.
