Bitmine Immersion Technologies has notably expanded its Ethereum holdings, acquiring 60,976 ETH in the past week. This brings its total to 4,534,563 ETH, representing approximately 3.76% of the global supply. The recent purchase surpasses the company’s previous weekly average of 45,000–50,000 ETH, reflecting a strategic move to accumulate blockchain assets during what leadership calls the late stages of a market downturn. Bitmine’s total assets now reach $10.3 billion, including Ethereum, 195 Bitcoin, $1.2 billion in cash, and stakes in technology ventures such as Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings. Over 3 million ETH are currently staked, generating $174 million in annual revenue, with the potential for further growth as more tokens are staked. The company’s aggressive accumulation and diversified portfolio have positioned it among the world’s largest crypto treasury holders. Its stock has also experienced increased trading volumes in response to these developments.
