Nigel Farage has acquired a 6.31% stake in Stack BTC, a UK-listed Bitcoin treasury company, by purchasing 4.3 million shares at 5 pence each through his firm, Thorn In The Side Ltd. This investment was part of a £260,000 funding round that also saw participation from Blockchain.com as a strategic investor. Stack BTC intends to use the capital to build a Bitcoin-focused treasury and acquire profitable UK businesses, aligning with the growing trend of corporate Bitcoin holdings. The newly issued shares will begin trading on the Aquis Growth Market, increasing the company’s total shares to over 68 million. Farage’s involvement brings public attention and symbolic weight to the transaction, especially as the UK’s crypto regulatory landscape evolves. Separately, Reform UK raised £12 million in cryptocurrency donations in 2025, with Christopher Harborne contributing £3 million, highlighting crypto’s rising role in political funding and regulatory scrutiny.
