Ark Invest increases Coinbase, Robinhood holdings amid dip
Ark Invest bought $4.09M in Coinbase and $12.06M in Robinhood shares as both stocks dipped, signaling ongoing confidence in crypto equities despite recent volatility and losses.
Ark Invest has boosted its exposure to Coinbase and Robinhood by acquiring 22,452 Coinbase shares (worth about $4.09 million) and 158,587 Robinhood shares (valued at $12.06 million) across its ARKK, ARKW, and ARKF ETFs on March 3. These purchases came as both stocks declined—Coinbase by 1.55% and Robinhood by over 3.4%—amid broader market and crypto sector downturns driven by geopolitical tensions. Despite Coinbase posting a $667 million net loss in Q4 2025, Ark Invest continued to buy the dip, signaling ongoing confidence in crypto-related equities. The firm also rebalanced its portfolio by adding shares of other companies and trimming positions elsewhere. Coinbase and Robinhood remain among the largest holdings in Ark’s ETFs, reflecting a strategy of maintaining and increasing exposure to the crypto sector during periods of volatility.
