ProCap Financial has acquired 450 additional Bitcoin, increasing its total holdings to 5,457 BTC. This move solidifies its position as the 19th-largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin. The purchase, valued at approximately $35.4 million, was funded through working capital and option exercises. ProCap’s strategy aims to lower its average acquisition cost and enhance shareholder value, supported by an aggressive share buyback program. These buybacks have helped narrow the gap between the company’s market price and its net asset value. ProCap plans to continue both Bitcoin accumulation and share repurchases as long as market conditions remain favorable. Meanwhile, Strategy has expanded its Bitcoin portfolio to 720,737 BTC, now valued at over $47 billion. The company acquired 3,015 bitcoins for $204.1 million, funded through share sales, reaffirming its status as the leading public corporation in Bitcoin holdings and controlling about 3.4% of the total supply.
