Grayscale launches Sui Staking ETF, merging crypto and yield

Grayscale launches the Sui Staking ETF (GSUI) on NYSE Arca, offering regulated SUI exposure and staking rewards, backed by major institutions and targeting both traditional and crypto investors.

Grayscale Investments has introduced the Sui Staking ETF (GSUI) on NYSE Arca, marking a notable advancement for both the SUI token and the broader crypto investment sector. This ETF provides regulated exposure to SUI and allows investors to earn staking rewards, effectively blending traditional ETF investing with blockchain-based yield opportunities. The fund is supported by major financial institutions: Bank of New York Mellon handles administration, while Coinbase serves as custodian and prime broker. Leading market makers such as Jane Street and Virtu are expected to provide liquidity. The ETF features a 0.35% management fee, waived for the first three months or until $1 billion in assets is reached. Transitioning from OTCQX to NYSE Arca expands accessibility, enabling a wider range of investors to participate in staking without managing wallets or private keys. The launch has driven a 7% increase in SUI prices and highlights growing institutional interest in yield-generating crypto products.
