This purchase brings the company’s total bitcoin holdings to 717,131 BTC, representing over 3% of the total bitcoin supply. The total acquisition cost for these holdings is about $54.5 billion, with an average cost of $76,027 per bitcoin. At current prices, this results in an unrealized loss of around $5.7 billion. The latest acquisition was financed through at-the-market equity offerings, including the sale of 660,000 shares of Class A common stock and 785,354 shares of perpetual preferred stock. Strategy continues to pursue its plan to raise up to $84 billion by 2027 to further increase its bitcoin reserves, maintaining its position as the largest corporate holder of bitcoin and emphasizing a long-term accumulation strategy.
