Truth Social seeks SEC approval for crypto ETFs

Truth Social has filed with the SEC to launch two crypto ETFs: one tracking Bitcoin and Ethereum with staking rewards, and another focused on Cronos (CRO) yields.

Truth Social, the social media platform linked to Donald Trump, has submitted registration statements to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch two new cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The first, the Truth Social Cronos Yield Maximizer ETF, will offer exposure to CRO, the native token of the Cronos blockchain. The second, the Truth Social Bitcoin and Ether ETF, is designed to track the performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum, incorporating staking rewards, particularly from Ether. Both ETFs will be advised by Yorkville America Equities and are expected to carry a 0.95% management fee. Crypto.com will serve as the asset custodian, providing custody, liquidity, and staking services, with the funds available through its broker-dealer, Foris Capital US LLC. These filings highlight growing institutional interest in digital assets and aim to deliver regulated, accessible investment vehicles for mainstream investors. The SEC’s decision on these applications could shape the future of crypto investment products.
