ETHZilla launches jet engine-backed token with high yield
ETHZilla launches Eurus Aero Token I, offering $100 tokens backed by leased jet engines, targeting 11–16.5% annual returns and monthly on-chain payouts for accredited investors.
ETHZilla has introduced the Eurus Aero Token I, a tokenized asset backed by two commercial jet engines leased to a major U.S. airline. The engines, valued at approximately $12.2 million, serve as collateral for tokens issued on Ethereum Layer 2 networks, including Arbitrum, and distributed via the Liquidityio platform. Accredited investors can purchase tokens at $100 each, with a minimum investment of 10 tokens. Investors gain exposure to monthly lease payments and targeted annual returns of 11% to 16.5% through 2027 or 2028. This initiative aims to democratize access to institutional-grade aviation investments by enabling fractional ownership and on-chain distribution of cash flows. ETHZilla also plans to expand this tokenization model to other asset classes, such as mortgages and automotive loans, amid growing interest in real-world asset tokenization.
