Canaan’s Q4 revenue soars 121%, but shares slide on Nasdaq

Canaan Inc. reported a remarkable financial turnaround in Q4 2025, with revenue surging to $196.3 million—a 121.1% year-over-year increase and a 30.4% rise from the previous quarter. The company achieved record hardware sales, delivering 14.6 exahashes per second (EH/s) in computing power, largely driven by substantial orders from North America. Mining revenue reached $30.4 million, with 300 Bitcoins produced at an average revenue of $101,304 per BTC. Gross profit improved to $14.6 million, reversing a loss from the prior year. Canaan also expanded its crypto treasury, holding 1,749.9 BTC and 3,950.54 ETH. Despite these strong results, Canaan’s share price dropped 6.9% to $0.56, moving further below the $1 minimum required to avoid potential Nasdaq delisting. The stock remains under pressure amid broader market weakness.
