Tenbin Labs raises $7M+ for tokenized gold and FX markets
Tenbin Labs raised $7M+ led by Galaxy Digital to build tokenized gold and FX markets using CME futures. The first product launches in 2026, with currency expansion planned.
Tenbin Labs has secured over $7 million in seed funding, led by Galaxy Digital’s venture arm, with participation from major crypto market makers and venture firms including Wintermute Ventures, GSR, FalconX, Variant, and Archetype. The company is focused on revolutionizing tokenized real-world assets by developing institutional-grade infrastructure. This will enable on-chain assets like gold and foreign exchange to settle faster, offer greater liquidity, and become more usable than current solutions. Unlike traditional custodial wrappers, Tenbin’s approach connects tokenized assets directly to CME futures markets, allowing for closer price tracking and yield generation through a proprietary hedging system. Tenbin’s first product—a yield-bearing tokenized gold asset—is expected to launch in early 2026, with plans to expand into emerging-market currencies. The initiative aims to solve issues of thin liquidity, slow settlement, and limited usability that have hindered previous tokenization efforts, representing a significant step toward bridging traditional and decentralized finance.
