Strategy adds $264M in bitcoin, holdings surpass 712,000 BTC

Strategy has acquired an additional 2,932 bitcoin for approximately $264.1 million between January 20 and January 25, at an average price of $90,061 per bitcoin. This purchase brings the company’s total bitcoin holdings to 712,647 BTC, valued at around $62.5 billion at current market prices. The acquisitions were primarily funded through the sale of 1,569,770 shares of common stock for about $257 million and 70,201 shares of preferred stock for $7 million, as disclosed in recent SEC filings. The company’s aggregate purchase price for its bitcoin holdings stands at roughly $54.19 billion, with an average acquisition price of $76,037 per bitcoin. Despite recent market volatility and bitcoin trading below recent highs, Strategy continues its accumulation strategy, reinforcing its long-term commitment to bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset. The company maintains significant capacity for future fundraising through its at-the-market offering programs.
