Zapper DeFi dashboard to shut down in August 2026

Zapper, a major DeFi dashboard, will close all services on August 3, 2026. Users and developers must migrate portfolios and integrations before the shutdown.

Zapper, a leading DeFi portfolio tracker and dashboard, will shut down all operations on August 3, 2026, after nearly seven years of service. This closure will affect its website, mobile apps, and API services, requiring users and developers to migrate their portfolios and integrations before the deadline. Formed from the merger of DeFiSnap and DeFiZap in 2020, Zapper became a vital tool during the DeFi boom, offering features such as liquidity pool monitoring, yield farming tracking, DEX aggregation, NFT support, and web3 social tools. At its peak, Zapper boasted over 2 million monthly active users and processed more than $13 billion in transaction volume. Despite raising $15 million in a 2021 Series A led by Framework Ventures and planning further expansion, Zapper has decided on an orderly shutdown, citing broader challenges in the DeFi sector. Users are strongly advised to prepare for the discontinuation of all services by the specified date.
