Pump.fun removes Tokenized Agent launch option

Pump.fun has discontinued its Tokenized Agent launch option to reduce competition and confusion. Existing tokens are unaffected, and the platform aims to streamline its offerings.

Pump.fun, a Solana-based token launchpad, has discontinued its Tokenized Agent launch option after receiving extensive community feedback. Users expressed concerns that the variety of launch options was creating unnecessary and toxic player-versus-player (PVP) competition, leading to confusion and hindering the growth of new projects. The Tokenized Agent feature allowed token creators to deploy AI agents for automated buybacks and burns. While this feature will no longer be available for new token launches, existing tokens that utilize it will remain unaffected. Pump.fun stated that this move is part of a broader effort to streamline its offerings, remove features that lack sufficient value, and improve the experience for retail traders. The platform reaffirmed its commitment to developing new products that better serve its community and foster a healthier ecosystem.
