Binance Wallet launches gas-free prediction markets

Binance Wallet now offers gas-free prediction markets via Predict.fun, letting users trade on event outcomes using existing balances. The feature requires a separate account and is not available everywhere.

Binance Wallet has integrated Predict.fun, expanding its prediction market capabilities beyond beta and enabling users to trade on real-world event outcomes directly within the Binance app. Users can place trades using funds from their existing spot or funding accounts, eliminating the need to transfer assets externally. Binance is sponsoring all gas fees for trades and settlements on BNB Smart Chain, removing blockchain transaction costs and lowering barriers for retail users. To access the feature, users must create a dedicated Prediction Account, which utilizes a keyless wallet system for enhanced security. Prediction markets cover categories such as crypto, sports, and global events, with share prices reflecting crowd-estimated probabilities. The service is not available in all regions and is not supervised by regulatory authorities. The sector has seen rapid growth, with monthly trading volumes surpassing $20 billion. Predict.fun, developed by a former Binance employee, is the main prediction market provider on BNB Smart Chain.
