Anthropic unveils Claude Personal Finance in US beta

Anthropic launched Claude Personal Finance in US beta, letting paid users securely link bank accounts for spending analysis. The feature is read-only, ad-free, and for Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers.

Anthropic has introduced Claude Personal Finance, a new beta feature for paid subscribers in the United States as of November 5, 2026. This tool enables users to securely link their bank and card accounts via Plaid, allowing them to ask Claude questions about spending, balances, bills, and financial history. Claude accesses account names, types, last four digits, balances, credit limits, and up to two years of transaction history in a read-only mode—no transactions or transfers can be made. The feature offers spending analysis, visualizations, duplicate payment detection, and interest calculations, but does not provide investment advice or display ads or sponsored content. Users can disconnect their accounts at any time, and Anthropic assures that conversation data is not used to train its models. The beta is available exclusively to Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers, positioning Claude as a privacy-focused competitor to similar offerings like ChatGPT.
