Bit2Me STX launches Spain’s first 24/7 blockchain exchange

Bit2Me STX gains CNMV approval to launch a 24/7 blockchain stock exchange, enabling instant settlement and focusing on tech, pharma, and renewables.

Bit2Me STX has secured authorization from the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) to operate as a Trading and Settlement System (SNL) under the EU's DLT pilot regime. This license allows Bit2Me STX to launch a native blockchain-based stock exchange, facilitating the issuance, trading, custody, and settlement of traditional financial instruments—such as shares, bonds, and funds—tokenized via distributed ledger technology. The platform will operate 24/7, providing instant atomic settlement (T+0) and delivery versus payment, thereby eliminating intermediaries and reducing transaction costs. Bit2Me STX focuses on technology, growth, pharmaceutical, and renewable energy companies, as well as the funds supporting these sectors, offering an innovative alternative for financing. The first planned issuance is a tokenized corporate bond from Valorix, valued at one million euros. The infrastructure leverages smart contracts to replace traditional clearinghouses and connects to the broader financial system through tokenized euro deposits.
