J.P. Morgan launches tokenized funds on Solana

J.P. Morgan has launched its MONY and JLTXX tokenized money market funds on Solana, allowing qualified U.S. investors to access them via Morgan Money, furthering blockchain integration.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management has expanded access to its tokenized money market funds, My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX), by launching them on the Solana blockchain. Qualified U.S. investors can now subscribe to and redeem these funds through the Morgan Money platform, with token balances managed directly on-chain. MONY is a private placement fund offering U.S. dollar yields, while JLTXX is a registered government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act. This expansion follows J.P. Morgan's initial tokenized fund launches on Ethereum, marking a significant step in integrating traditional financial products with decentralized blockchain infrastructure. The move highlights Solana's fast transaction speeds and low costs, and is seen as a milestone in the convergence of traditional finance and blockchain technology. This development is closely watched by stakeholders as it could reshape perceptions of blockchain's role in finance and further bridge the gap between the crypto sector and traditional markets.
