Bank of America appoints leaders for crypto and AI
Bank of America named Sonali Theisen to lead digital assets and Kevin Milsom for AI, advancing blockchain and AI integration in its financial services.
Bank of America has appointed Sonali Theisen as head of its global digital assets platform. In this role, she will oversee the design, development, expansion, and governance of the platform, ensuring its seamless integration with traditional financial infrastructure. Theisen will also maintain her responsibilities in electronic trading and strategic investments across fixed income, currencies, and commodities. Adam Dixon will be responsible for managing tokenized deposits, stablecoins, digital collateral movement, crypto trading settlement, and custody. Meanwhile, Kevin Milsom has been named head of AI transformation, where he will lead the implementation of artificial intelligence across the bank’s global markets platforms and daily operations. These appointments reflect a broader trend among major financial institutions to enhance their digital asset and AI capabilities, signaling increased institutional interest in integrating blockchain and AI technologies into traditional banking operations.
