Crypto.com and DMCC Join Forces to Tokenize Global Commodities

Crypto.com and DMCC have partnered to advance tokenization in global commodities, aiming to modernize trading, improve transparency, and expand market access through blockchain technology and educational initiatives.

Crypto.com and the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) have entered a strategic partnership to advance the tokenization of real-world assets across global commodities markets. The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, aims to leverage blockchain technology to modernize the financing, trading, and settlement of commodities such as precious metals, diamonds, energy, and agricultural products. The initiative focuses on reducing settlement friction, enhancing price transparency, and expanding market access. Both organizations will explore the listing of tokenized commodities on the Crypto.com Exchange, develop custody and liquidity models, and facilitate digital-asset payments across DMCC’s platforms. The partnership also includes educational programs, workshops, and hackathons to build institutional knowledge and support businesses in adopting tokenized asset models. This effort is expected to connect traditional commodities markets with new digital asset technologies, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a hub for innovative trade infrastructure.
