Circle and Tereina are integrating USDC and EURC into SAP Cloud ERP and SAP Pay, enabling direct stablecoin payments, streamlining workflows, and reducing costs for businesses.

Circle and Tereina have announced a partnership to integrate USDC and EURC stablecoins into SAP Cloud ERP and SAP Pay. This move enables businesses to send and receive stablecoin payments directly within the enterprise software they already use, eliminating the need for separate crypto gateways or changes to existing accounting systems. The integration streamlines payment workflows for eligible enterprises and supports both traditional and blockchain-based payment rails, including ACH, EFT, wire, check, and stablecoin settlement. Key features include automated reconciliation, fraud detection, and multi-rail routing. Arc, Circle's Layer 1 blockchain, will be the preferred blockchain for initial workflows, offering sub-millisecond settlements and fees paid in USDC. The partnership aims to reduce payment costs by up to 25% and plans to further automate global payments using SAP’s Joule AI agents. Customer pilots, training, and proof-of-value programs are planned for the coming months.
