MoonPay has introduced its PayBox payment tool within Grok and other AI chatbots, allowing users to perform crypto transfers, swaps, DeFi transactions, and traditional payments using simple English commands. PayBox functions as a non-custodial AI payment vault, ensuring users maintain control over their assets. Security is enhanced through MPC and TEE technologies. The integration supports transactions on Solana and EVM-compatible networks, including Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Hyperliquid, all under the open x402 standard. Users can select between "Always Ask" and "Autonomous" modes for transaction approvals, offering flexibility and control. Additionally, Solana has announced partnerships with Grok, PayBox, and MoonPay to simplify asset purchases and improve user experience. These advancements reflect a growing trend toward integrated payment solutions and are expected to increase user engagement and transaction efficiency within the Solana ecosystem, although adoption figures have yet to be released.
