The deal is valued at over $70 million, reportedly up to $75 million, and establishes Galaxy as the official data center and digital assets partner for the university's athletics department. The agreement covers football, men's and women's basketball, and includes NIL commercialization opportunities for student-athletes. Galaxy will also collaborate with Texas Tech on artificial intelligence research, campus talent development, and athlete endorsement deals. This initiative is part of Galaxy's broader strategy to expand its presence in West Texas, leveraging its investment in the Helios data center campus in Dickens County.
