Binance Charity donated $200,000 in crypto to aid flood relief in central Vietnam, providing emergency supplies and long-term recovery support to affected communities through transparent blockchain-based aid.
Binance Charity has pledged and donated $200,000 (approximately 5.3 billion VND) in cryptocurrency to support flood relief and recovery efforts in central Vietnam following severe flooding that displaced thousands and submerged tens of thousands of homes. The donation, officially committed on November 21 in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), is aimed at providing immediate emergency aid, essential supplies, temporary shelter, and long-term rebuilding assistance to the hardest-hit communities, including the mountainous province of Dak Lak. Binance Charity's initiative highlights the use of blockchain technology for transparent and efficient humanitarian aid delivery. The organization has a history of supporting Vietnam through previous disaster relief campaigns, water filtration projects, and environmental initiatives. This latest effort underscores the growing role of cryptocurrency in global philanthropy, enabling rapid and borderless support for communities in crisis.
