TON Pay SDK launches for crypto payments in Telegram

TON Foundation launched TON Pay, an SDK for wallet-agnostic crypto payments in Telegram mini-apps. It supports Toncoin, USDT, and stablecoins, enabling fast, low-fee transactions.

The TON Foundation has introduced TON Pay, a software development kit (SDK) designed to integrate cryptocurrency payments into Telegram mini-apps and services. TON Pay is wallet-agnostic, allowing merchants and developers to accept Toncoin (TON), USDT, and other stablecoins directly within Telegram, removing the need for complex wallet management. The SDK streamlines everyday transactions, offering sub-second confirmations and average fees below one cent. Its features include a unified payment interface, multi-currency support, a gas-free transaction layer, subscription management, and developer-friendly APIs. Targeting Telegram’s 1.1 billion users, TON Pay aims to transform the platform into a comprehensive blockchain commerce and financial hub by reducing technical barriers and simplifying payment, settlement, and order processing for both merchants and consumers.
