360T and Bitpanda expand regulated crypto trading in Europe
360T and Bitpanda join forces to expand regulated crypto trading in Europe, enabling banks and financial firms to offer digital asset services under MiCA.
Deutsche Börse Group’s FX and digital assets unit, 360T, has entered a strategic partnership with Austrian crypto platform Bitpanda to boost institutional access to crypto trading across Europe. This collaboration merges Bitpanda’s digital asset infrastructure with 360T’s MiCA-regulated trading platform, 3DX, providing banks and financial institutions with a compliant route to offer digital asset services. Under the agreement, 360T’s 3DX will serve as a MiCA-regulated trading venue using institutional-grade technology, while Bitpanda supplies the infrastructure for retail-focused crypto services. This setup allows financial institutions to deliver crypto products to end-users without developing their own systems, reducing operational costs and accelerating time-to-market. The partnership clearly divides responsibilities: 360T manages the institutional trading venue, while Bitpanda handles the infrastructure for end-user services. The initiative aims to broaden regulated crypto trading access for both institutional and retail markets in Europe, ensuring MiCA compliance and leveraging both firms’ strengths.
