May was a hectic month for the Tangem team across every front. We showed up at two of the industry's biggest conferences, shipped product updates that bring real-world spending and smarter swaps to users, and formalized a college/university education program that's been quietly in the works for months. Events

BTC Vegas

Tangem opened the month at BTC Vegas, where the team showcased the latest wallet styles and connected with attendees throughout the event. Visitors got hands-on time with the product lineup, and limited-edition Tangem merch made the rounds. Strong turnout, strong conversations.

Consensus 2026, Miami

Consensus brought hundreds of visitors to the Tangem booth for live demos covering yield mode and spending. We walked attendees through active self-custody workflows in real time, with BTC giveaways and match ticket drops throughout the week. 

Bitcoin Pizza Day in Nine Cities, Five Continents

On May 22, Tangem Ambassadors represented at Bitcoin Pizza Day events in Bengaluru, New Delhi, Punjab, Montreal, Buenos Aires, Helsinki, Valencia, Uyo, and Tatu City. Each event brought together local crypto communities to discuss Bitcoin, self-custody, and security. Our global Ambassador network is becoming one of Tangem's most visible assets.

Product Updates

Send with Swap with rate lock

Send with Swap already lets you send any token and have it arrive as whatever the recipient actually wants. This month's update adds rate locking. The amount confirmed at send is exactly what the receiving end gets, no slippage or guesswork.
 

App version 5.38

The latest app update brought a stack of improvements. Tangem Pay now supports card reissue, renaming, and daily spending limits right from the app. Wallet import got smarter: drop in a seed phrase and Tangem automatically scans and adds the tokens you already hold. Plus, Sakura series card support and UX improvements for swapping and tokens across iOS and Android.

New languages: Chinese and Portuguese

你好. Bem-vindo. The Tangem app now supports Simplified Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese, bringing the experience closer to home for millions more users. Update and explore.

Your cold wallet got a cool glow-up. We rebuilt the tangem.com landing page from the ground up. Cleaner, faster, and a better reflection of where Tangem is heading. Go take a look.
 

Tangem Campus

Over the past few months, Tangem has held 25 workshops for over 1,000 students at universities, including Harvard Business School and the London School of Economics, teaching them to truly own their crypto. 

In May, we made it official. Tangem Campus is now a dedicated program bringing expert-led lectures, workshops, and hands-on self-custody sessions to universities worldwide. If you want it at your school, we want to hear from you.

What's coming in June?

Multi-Address UTXO

UTXO management is getting a significant upgrade. The upcoming release will support UTXO across multiple wallet addresses, giving users more granular control over their Bitcoin transactions and improving privacy handling. Expected in the v5.39 release.

New swap provider 

We will be integrating Swaps.xyz as an additional swap provider. More providers mean better routing, better rates, and fewer dead ends when executing trades in-app. Expected in the v5.39 release.
 

Onramp improvements

Access to non-KYC onramping options is expanding. The update will bring wider availability of entry points for users who prioritize privacy when purchasing crypto.
 

Ethereum staking

Native Ethereum staking is coming directly to the Tangem app. Users will be able to stake ETH without leaving the wallet or relying on third-party interfaces. Development is underway, with a release timeline to be confirmed at a later stage.
 

SiGMA Asia (June 1-3, Manila)

SiGMA's annual Asian summit takes over the SMX Convention Center in Manila from June 1 to 3, drawing thousands of attendees across gaming, fintech, blockchain, and payments. The event has become one of Southeast Asia's most significant cross-industry gatherings. Tangem will be on the ground.
 

Proof of Talk (June 2-3, Paris)

Often called the Davos of Web3, Proof of Talk returns to the Louvre Palace in Paris on June 2-3 with a curated audience of 2,500 senior executives, investors, and policymakers. Tangem will be there.
 

BTC Prague (June 11-13, Prague)

Europe's largest Bitcoin-only conference runs from June 11 to 13 at PVA Expo Prague, with over 200 speakers and 8,500 attendees expected for its fourth edition. The program spans keynotes, panels, an expo floor with 100+ Bitcoin companies, and a dedicated Freedom Tech Summit for builders. We will be exhibiting.
 

Solana Summit Germany (June 13, Berlin)

Organized by Superteam Germany, Solana Summit takes over the Spreespeicher venue on the River Spree in Berlin on June 13, bringing together founders, developers, and institutional players for a one-day deep dive into Internet Capital Markets. It is the largest Solana-focused event Germany has hosted. We will be there.
 

Berlin Blockchain Week (June 13-21, Berlin)

Berlin Blockchain Week runs from June 13 to 21, turning the city into a nine-day hub of independently organized conferences, workshops, and meetups across the blockchain ecosystem. Flagship events like DappCon and Web3 Summit anchor the week, with over 140 events expected across multiple venues. Tangem will be part of it.
