Main featuresTraditionally, crypto-backed loans have been facilitated between two parties: borrowers and lenders. Borrowers seek to maintain exposure to their crypto assets while accessing immediate capital, whereas lenders supply capital in return for ongoing interest repayments. This arrangement often results in a power imbalance, with borrowers facing unfavorable loan-to-value ratios, constant interest repayments, and the risk of margin calls during market downturns. Yamfore eliminates these issues by removing the lender from the equation entirely. All loans are funded directly from the protocol's internal stablecoin treasury, removing many counterparty requirements.
