Token holders can support the network by delegating their WMT stake to a node operator, while node operators can run their own nodes. WMT serves as the utility token at the core of the World Mobile Chain, a solution developed in collaboration with Input Output Global and World Mobile. This initiative aims to democratize access to digital, financial, and social services in Africa, making it the first of its kind to connect the unconnected.

How it works

The World Mobile network is built on the Cardano blockchain infrastructure, enabling a sharing economy that provides affordable network nodes. These nodes act as local relays for internet connectivity.
