HOGE, formerly known as Hoge.Finance or Hogecoin, is a community-driven DeFi auto-staking ERC-20 token. It was fair-launched on February 7, 2021, with an initial supply of 1 trillion tokens, half of which were permanently burned at launch. The token is designed to be deflationary, with a capped supply and no initial allocation to the team.

Main features

HOGE implements a 2% tax on every transaction. Of this tax, 1% is sent to a burn wallet, permanently reducing the supply, while the other 1% is redistributed to all wallets holding HOGE outside of exchanges. This mechanism supports the deflationary nature of the token. HOGE is also notable for being one of the first DeFi memecoins to successfully complete a Certik audit, achieving a Skynet security score of 90.

How it works

HOGE has expanded its utility beyond being a deflationary token. The project has minted NFTs for holders and sponsored eSports and Rally Racing Trucks. In May, a Swiss verein non-profit DAO hybrid was established to facilitate community-approved actions and business agreements. HOGE has also launched a non-profit partnership initiative, including a Twitter campaign called #HogeSavesTheAnimals, raising over $20,000 for animal charities. The team plans to explore dApp games development through HogeGameLabs.
