cGLD forms part of the overcollateralized reserve that supports Celo's stable value assets, initially the Celo Dollar or cUSD. The Celo Protocol automatically adds cGLD to the reserve whenever the supply of Celo stable value assets increases, ensuring the stability and growth of the platform.
