The price, market capitalization, price change, and chart of the most cryptocurrencies are available at a glance. This information can inform your trade decisions or help you quickly examine a crypto project's health. You can sort this list by rating, trending, experienced buyers top gainers, and top losers. Here's what they mean:

  • Rating: Cryptocurrencies sorted by market capitalization.

  • Trending: Cryptocurrencies that are currently gaining popularity.

  • Experienced Buyers: Cryptocurrencies invested in by experienced buyers.

  • Top Gainers and Top Losers: Cryptocurrencies with the highest growth or decline over the selected period (24 hours, 7 days, or 1 month).

The top gainers and losers ranking can be a useful time saver if you constantly look for the best and worst-performing cryptocurrencies. The page tracks the best and worst-performing cryptocurrencies over a given time frame.

Regardless of the sorting method, the cryptocurrency's rank, current price, and market capitalization are displayed under its name.

Changing the period (24 hours, 7 days, or 1 month) affects the price growth/decline percentage and the chart.

The list includes all cryptocurrencies from CoinGecko, with a market capitalization of more than $100,000. To see tokens with a lower market cap, select "Show Tokens" at the end of the search list.

By selecting any specific cryptocurrency, you'll find an overview of the asset and its purpose, details about its supply and trading volume, and more. Tangem currently ranks over 13,000 different cryptocurrencies by market cap.

It's a snapshot of the crypto market's behavior, making it easier to assess trends over time (24 hours, 7 days, or 1 month). Let's break down each indicator:

  1. Experienced Buyers: This metric tracks the number of seasoned traders who have made at least 100 outgoing transactions in the last 24 hours. A negative number (e.g., -4,532) indicates a decrease in their participation, which could signal declining confidence or reduced activity by experienced market participants.

  2. Holders: This shows the net change in the number of people holding the asset in their wallets. A positive number (e.g., +104.4K) means more people are choosing to hold the asset, suggesting growing interest or confidence in its long-term value.

  3. Liquidity: Liquidity measures the amount of capital available for buying and selling the asset. A higher liquidity figure (e.g., +$83,989.93) indicates greater ease of executing trades without significantly affecting the price, which can signify a healthy and active market.

  4. Buy Pressure refers to the total volume of buy orders in the market. Rising buy pressure (e.g., +$899.59K) suggests an increasing demand for the asset, potentially leading to upward price movements.

These metrics can give you a valuable perspective on market trends and help you make strategic decisions about buying, holding, or selling an asset.

Metrics

Markets also display financial metrics associated with a cryptocurrency asset. Here’s a breakdown of each term:

  • Market capitalization is the total value of a cryptocurrency's circulating supply, calculated by multiplying the asset's current price by its circulating supply. Formula: Market Cap = Current Price × Circulating Supply.

  • Trading volume (24h) represents the total dollar value of the asset traded across various exchanges within the last 24 hours. Example: $972.86M indicates that $972.86 million worth of this asset has been traded in the past 24 hours. Trading volume provides vital insight into an asset’s liquidity, market strength, and potential price movements. Learn more about it here.

  • Circulating supply is the number of coins or tokens that are publicly available and circulating in the market. Example: 55.57B means that 55.57 billion units of this cryptocurrency are in circulation.

  • Total Supply is the total number of coins or tokens, including those not yet released or available in the market.

  • Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) is the total value of the asset if all possible tokens (the total supply) are circulating. The formula is FDV = Current Price × Total Supply.

  • Market rating refers to a ranking or rating system that indicates how an asset compares to others in the market, usually regarding market cap.

Price performance

The cryptocurrency landscape changes quickly. Digital assets that were once relatively obscure often climb the ranks to become better known, while even top 10 assets can collapse to almost nothing.

Tangem Markets provides a simple snapshot feature to help you see how the cryptocurrency’s price has changed in 24 hours, 1 month, and all time.

Resources

Tangem Markets also provides quick access to official links such as the website, white paper, social media channels, and blockchain explorers. This is handy for anyone looking to dig deeper into a cryptocurrency's technical details or stay updated with the latest news from official channels.
