How to participate
Entering the giveaway is simple enough. Here's what to do:
Subscribe: Enter your email address through the newsletter subscription pop-up form on the Tangem website. If you don't see a pop-up, open an incognito tab and go to https://tangem.com
- Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email containing your unique personal ID after subscribing. The unique ID will be used to select the winner during a live broadcast.
Contest period
Dates: The contest runs from October 21 to November 10, 2024.
Winner selection: The winner will be selected randomly during a live stream on Tangem’s Discord channel on November 11. We will use a randomizer to ensure a fair selection process.
Prize details
One lucky winner will receive:
- Round-trip airfare to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Accommodation in Abu Dhabi during the event (if they choose)
- A ticket to the Bitcoin Conference happening on December 9–10, 2024 (Bitcoin Conference MENA).
The total value of the prize will not exceed $1,500.
Winner announcement
After the live stream, the winner will be notified via email. You must respond within 72 hours to claim your prize. If you do not respond, Tangem will select an alternate winner.

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Tangem (Tangem AG, a company incorporated and acting under the laws of Switzerland) Newsletter Subscription Competition (the "Competition") and govern individual’s (hereinafter “you”, “your”, “yours”, “participant”) participation. By submitting your email and subscribing to Tangem newsletters through the designated form on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy available on the Tangem website.
Eligibility
To enter the Competition, You must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide a valid email address through the subscription form on Tangem’s official website.
- Agree to receive newsletters from Tangem.
- Comply with all relevant laws and regulations in your country of residence.
How to Enter
To participate in the Competition:
- Submit your email address in the subscription form on the Tangem website.
- By subscribing, you will automatically be entered into the Competition.
- Each participant will receive a confirmation email containing a unique personal ID after subscribing.
- The personal ID will be used to determine the winner during the Tangem livestream.
Competition Period
The Competition starts on 21st October 2024 and ends on 10th November 2024. Entries received after the end date will not be eligible.
Prize
The winner of the Competition will receive the following for a total amount not exceeding $1,500:
- One (1) roundtrip ticket to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Accommodation in Abu Dhabi, UAE at the winner's choice;
AND
- One (1) ticket to the Bitcoin Conference in MENA held in Abu Dhabi is to be provided to the winner at the Bitcoin Conference venue. More details about the conference can be found at https://b.tc/conference/mena).
Winner Selection
- The winner will be selected at random during Tangem's livestream.
- Tangem will use the unique personal ID sent to each participant by email to select the winner.
- The date and time of the livestream will be announced via email and on Tangem’s social media channels.
Winner Announcement
- The winner will be notified via email after the live stream.
- The winner must respond within 72 hours to claim their prize.
- If the winner does not respond within the specified time, Tangem reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Prize Conditions
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.
- The roundtrip ticket is subject to availability, and the chosen travel dates must align with the dates of the Bitcoin Conference in Abu Dhabi 2024.
- Tangem is not responsible for any additional costs related to the trip, including, but not limited to, accommodation, meals, visa expenses, or personal expenses.
Privacy and Data Use
By entering the Competition, you agree that Tangem may collect and process your personal data, including your email address, to administer the Competition and send marketing communications (newsletters) related to Tangem’s products and services. Your data will be processed per Tangem’s Privacy Policy.
Disqualification
Tangem reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in fraudulent or unlawful behavior.
Limitation of Liability
Tangem shall not be liable for any damages, loss, or injury that may occur due to your participation in the Competition, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Tangem reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions anytime. Any changes will be communicated via the Tangem website or email.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swiss courts.
