What personal data does the Tangem app collect?

Tangem does not track incoming or outgoing transactions. We do not collect wallet addresses, user personal information, or any other information that could identify users or their phones. We adhere to strict privacy and security standards to protect our users' data.

Can Tangem block access to a wallet?

Tangem does not have any servers connected to blockchains. Therefore, we cannot interfere with the wallet's operations in any way.

Tangem's philosophy is to provide users with only a technological solution for working with crypto assets. Tangem wallet works like this: Card/Ring ↔ Mobile app ↔ Blockchain.

In addition, we do not conduct user registration or verification and do not know your geolocation, citizenship, etc. Therefore, we cannot single out a specific user to block their wallet. Hypothetically, we could figure out your IP address, but you can use a VPN to change it.

The Tangem app is open source and available on GitHub. Anyone can independently study it, ensure its safety, and compile the app.
