Enhanced ETH Transactions

Expanded language support
Tangem is still going global! Our app is now available in Ukrainian, German, French, and Japanese. This expansion makes our wallet more accessible to users worldwide, fostering a genuinely international crypto community.
Android-specific updates
We made more changes to the Tangem Android app:
Settings redesign: Android users will enjoy a freshly redesigned settings interface. The new layout improves navigation and makes it easier to customize your wallet experience to your preferences.
Tron Refactoring: We've optimized our Tron integration, enhancing performance and reliability for Tron-based transactions and asset management.
iOS-specific updates
We made more changes to the Tangem iOS app:

New blockchains
We have added support for the following blockchain networks:
- JoyStream
- Manta
Access new assets, improved compatibility, and a better user experience. You can now purchase, trade, exchange, transfer, and obtain a broader selection of cryptocurrencies, which makes the wallet more flexible and user-friendly.
Support for network tokens
Tangem has expanded its functionality to support tokens that operate on the Hedera and Cardano blockchain networks. This could mean users of Tangem can now store, send, receive, or interact with tokens native to these two blockchain platforms.
Send tokens to yourself (Bitcoin, BitcoinCash, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dash, Kaspa)
This update is especially important for those who mine crypto to their Tangem Wallets. Now, for the specified UTXO blockchains, you can send a transaction to yourself (to your own address), which allows you to consolidate inputs.
After all, the more inputs, the heavier the transaction and the higher the fee when sending.
Previously, users accumulated multiple inputs and had to withdraw funds somewhere else to consolidate them, now they don't need to withdraw to third-party services and wallets; they can now send it to themselves.
Summary
The feature allows users to send tokens to their own address on UTXO (Unspent Transaction Output) based blockchains.
This is useful for miners who receive many small payments into their wallets.
The purpose is to consolidate multiple small inputs into a single, larger output. This process is often called "consolidation" or "UTXO management."
More inputs in a transaction make it "heavier" (larger in data size), which requires higher fees to process. With this new feature, users can consolidate their funds by simply sending a transaction to their own address, eliminating the need for external services or wallets.
This process simplifies fund management, potentially reduces fees for future transactions, and improves overall wallet efficiency.
Changed the addresses used to calculate swap fees
We modified how transaction fees (commissions) are calculated for token swaps. Previously, the app might have generated addresses dynamically to estimate fees. Now, it uses hardcoded addresses, which likely means predetermined, fixed addresses. This change could lead to more consistent or predictable fee calculations.

Improves how the app communicates with servers or external services
Migrate EVM to Trust, new fee system
This update significantly changes how the app interacts with Ethereum-like blockchains and handles transaction fees. Migrating EVM functionality to a trusted system should enhance security and improve performance.
Swap screen: 'Cancel' button on modal windows
Modal windows are pop-up dialogs that appear over the main content. This update adds a 'cancel' button to these windows on the swap screen, allowing users to more easily back out of a swap operation if they change their mind.
New Settings page design
The app's settings page has received a visual overhaul. This involves changes to the layout and organization of settings options to improve user experience and ease of navigation.
Changing the Wallet Reset flow
We changed the process of resetting a wallet. The changes involve adding or removing steps, altering the order of operations, or improving the user interface.
Each update aims to improve the app's different aspects, from backend operations (like fee calculations and API changes) to user interface enhancements (like the new settings design and additional buttons).
Our goal is to enhance user experience, provide users with more control and feedback, and improve the app's performance or reliability.
